Meanwhile I enclose for Your Lordship's information a copy of the last minute of the Executive Council when a letter from the Chief Justice was considered and answered, together with a copy of a further letter from Sir John Smale enclosing Snowden's decision on one part of Mr. Gibbon's proceedings.
